Hot Rolled Steel PLATE
HR Steel and HR Plates is used in applications where high level precision with respect to thickness and size is not required. Hot rolling is a mill process which involves rolling the steel above the re-crystallization temperature, when it can be shaped and formed easily, and the steel can be made in much larger sizes, beyond 2.5 and 3mm.
HRPO Steel is a result of HR Steel undergoing a 'Pickling' treatment. Pickling is a metal surface treatment, usually by an acid, to remove impurities, such as stains, inorganic contaminants, rust or precious metals and aluminum alloys.

Galvanized Steel is used in applications where the environment is corrosive and chances of rusting is high. Exposure to high moisture and chemicals requires the use of GI Steel.
Galvanization is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. They also have a shiny appearance which helps in aesthetic applications.
